On March 31st, 2023- After only 42 days of waiting inpatient and 269 days on the list, Brandon and I were sitting in traffic after just leaving the hospital- and received THE call.
There was a donor. The perfect heart. The perfect blood type. And Noah would be heading to the OR in less that 24 hours.
It has been a whirlwind of emotions and I still can't believe we are here- on the other side! Noah is still currently inpatient recovering but doing amazing.
We are incredibly thankful to Noah's donor and their family.
